Our volunteers are a crucial part of HASRA's success. We can never have too many volunteers. We need volunteers for a variety of tasks including cleaning cages, helping with intake, and giving your love to our dogs.
A Note From Our Founder
Hello, this is Debbie Rappuhn, founder and President of HASRA.
When we started this organization, we just wanted to save animals and give those that have had horrible beginnings a new, happy life. Since 2009, we have done that for more than 7100 animals!
We take in animals that are sick, hurt and need expensive surgeries and we love doing it. We want to save more, but we have also learned how much money this takes to continue. We need your help to continue do this good work. We purchase all of their vaccines, wormer, meds, food, toys, beds, and you help us with your wonderful donations, which we (and they!) appreciate very much.
We need you to share our page and tell everyone about what we do and ask them if they would like to be a part of the HASRA community to help us save more. We appreciate all of you who are already HASRA angels!
